UISP Latina: An amazing success for the Campestre Oasi di Ninfa 2022
On Saturday, June 4, the 20th edition of the Campestre Oasi di Ninfa 2022 Memorial Emiliano di Girolamo & Alessia Calvani was run, organized by UISP – Unione Italiana Sportpertutti, Territorial Committee of Latina: a project for the promotion of values and tourism through sport, supported by the Lazio Region.
Athlemixx was present at the sport event which, proposed on about 8 kilometers of dirt road within the suggestive natural area of Pantanello Park near the Garden of Ninfa – that is, the “Most Beautiful Garden in the World” according to The New York Times. This run followed in the success wake of the previous editions with many participants who showed their attachment to the event.
“Our mission is to demonstrate that “another sport” is possible. This means not only developing cultural innovation, but also translating it concretely into technical, methodological and organizational experimentation,” declare the founders of UISP, who loudly address the values and principles that only sports can bring out.
